Race Management Team 2025
Women make the world go round! Indeed, they do. And Hexaware Dream Runners Half Marathon 2025 scheduled for 20th July 2025 is going to have the running world go around, with an all women race management team! Together, they have christened themselves as the Powerpuff Race Management Team (RMT)! Here’s wishing more power to them as they take over the reins of DRHM2025 driven by the philosophy of Run, Inspire, Fuel, Strengthen: Every Step Counts.
Your favourite running event is being helmed by the ever-youthful Zainab Millwala Master as the Race Director. A key member and Trustee of Dream Runners Foundation, Zainab is an accomplished runner for over a decade with half marathons and a full marathon to her credit. Zainab considers running as a great “me-time” which keeps one rejuvenated and energetic all day long! She has been a mentor to couple of the Chapters of Dream Runners – many of whom have taken up running for the first time under her mentorship including women runners. To lead a healthy lifestyle, Zainab believes that it is important to strike the right balance of exercise and nutrition and periodically churns out nutrilicious recipes.
Once a Technology Professional, Zainab is now leading and managing her family business of Power products and is an empowering social entrepreneur. Zainab has been holding fort behind the scenes in all our past DRHM editions and will now bring to the fore, her exemplary multitasking skills along with all the know-hows of the event, amiable attitude, and persistence to deliver a memorable experience to the running community.
Joining her as part of the 3-member management team will be Mythili Prasad and Gomathy Narasimhan.
Mythili Prasad, a longtime member since the inception of Dream Runners and a champion of the Dream Walkers chapters, has inspired a group of women to embrace fitness. She has been actively involved in numerous community-driven initiatives and programs, bringing her creative enthusiasm, organizational prowess, and coordination skills to ensure every task through to the finish line.
A fitness enthusiast, Mythili has completed several 5K and 10K runs, along with a few half marathons. Her passion for wellness also includes swimming and yoga, which she practices regularly. Beyond fitness, Mythili finds fulfillment in exploring spiritual literature and philosophy.
Gomathy Narasimhan, a well-known Transplant Surgeon at a leading hospital in Chennai, took to running a decade ago to promote awareness on breast cancer. Bitten by the running bug, she has since completed several runs and inspired many of her colleagues and friends to embark on the fitness journey to shield from lifestyle associated disease. Through her running events she has helped raise funds for the cause of special children. The feel-good factor, positivity and camaraderie that running brings is the magnet for her.
She strongly believes strength training is vital for runners for a powerful and injury free run. Leading by example, she completed a 50k in Namma Chennai along with her running group, OMR Dreamers, to usher in her 50th birthday. Watch here
