Pacing Strategy:

Negative Split

Interesting Fact:

I love working with people and helping them realize their potential. As a runner for 18 years, I have been able to draw from many others, observe, learn, work hard, and achieve my goals – qualify for Boston, which I did twice. I have been able to understand the nuances, execute with facts/science, and believe I have a responsibility of passing on my learnings.

Also pacing places a sense of responsibility and commitment.

Pacing Strategy:

Negative Split

Will start first 2–3 kms controlled at 5:20 pace. Then progress steadily at the target pace to help runners get into a comfortable rhythm. Will remind them of the water station and motivate them. Will maintain even pace in the middle and will guide runners for a strong finish in the last 5 KMs. The main goal is for a smooth, enjoyable, and injury-free sub-1:50 finish.

Interesting Fact:

I am interested in pacing because I love supporting runners, maintaining team energy, and helping participants cross the finish line with a smile.”
