Interesting Fact:
Hi, I am Sowmya Mahesh from Bessie Dreamers.
I am a full marathon finisher and an ultra runner, having completed a few ultra-distance runs in my running journey.
I began my structured training journey with Bessie Dreamers in 2024. That same year, I completed my first 10K at DRHM in July 2024. From there, I gradually built consistency, running regularly and improving month by month.
With the constant support and motivation from Doc Anand Nott and the Bessie Dreamers team, I pushed beyond my limits, even training through the challenging summer months. That encouragement helped me believe in myself and aim higher.
In January 2025, I completed my first half-marathon (21K). By September 2025, I pushed further to 32K, stepping into longer endurance distances. I continued exploring my limits with a few ultra runs, gaining both strength and confidence.
In 2026, I reached a major milestone, completing 32K at FCM and then achieving my first Full Marathon at the Tata Mumbai Marathon.
It has been a truly transformative journey from my first 10K to becoming a marathon finisher. I am also proud to call myself a maiden pacer. I am deeply grateful to Bessie Dreamers, my mentors, coaches, friends, and family, who constantly motivated and supported me throughout this journey. Special thanks to the Almighty for guiding me every step of the way.
