My pacing strategy will be a slight negative split, beginning with a starting pace of 7:00 and finishing pace of 6:35. I will take three hydration breaks at approximately 2.5 kms each.
Interesting Fact:
I started running at the young age of 56 years and in the past 12 years completed 4 full marathons, more than 50 half marathons, and innumerable 10km runs. I have run from Puducherry to Chennai. I am a gold medal winner in 5000 mtr, 10000 mtr and 5 km racewalk at Chennai District Masters and TN state masters. I represent Tamil Nadu at National masters events and represent India at the Asian masters event. Running is my passion, and I love to bring more and more people into running and fitness. I love to pace at events to encourage, motivate and inspire runners of all ages .

There’ll be 2 hydration breaks throughout the 10k, we can also take some photos in between the race, and can still go for sub 70min- 10k. We’ll be doing a negative split in the last 1.5 km, but overall we’ll maintain a steady pace with a smile on our face!
Interesting Fact:
I’m Simha, and I have been running consistently for over half a year now… Will always push harder in any sport!
It’ll be my first time pacing, will keep y’all entertained throughout the entire course of race to not give you any exhaustion!
